The great Sphinx of Giza on the West Bank of the Nile in Giza — the oldest surviving on Earth, a monumental sculpture. Carved out of monolithic limestone rocks in the form of a colossal Sphinx lying on the sand lion, the face of which, as has long been considered to be attached to the portrait likeness of Pharaoh Khafre (C. 2575-2465 BCE), a funerary pyramid which is nearby. Length of the statue — 72 meters height — 20 meters; between the paws once housed a small Shrine.
Downside: the Cairo Citadel or Fortress of Saladin (Arab. ???? ???? ??????) — the citadel in Cairo, one of the attractions of the capital of Egypt. Supposedly built in. 1176-1183 by Salah ad-DIN set out to do from the Cairo Citadel, a city within the city, however, he did not succeed.
