XXVIII world youth day in Rio de Janeiro
International youth day (eng. World Youth Day, it. Giornata mondiale della gioventu) is an international celebration organized by the Catholic Church for young people all over the planet. It was established in 1986 by Pope John Paul II.
Obverse: the Statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro and walking around her youth. To the left of the statue and has the name of the event: "XXVIII G. M. G." to the right — the scene "RIO". Top marked with the name of the issuing state: "CITTA` DEL VATICANO". Also bottom right is the logo of the mint (letter "R") and the name of the artist "R. DANIELE".
Reverse: Map of Europe located on the right side. On the background of the map shows six vertical lines. At the ends of these lines are 12 stars. To the left of the card has a numerical value. On the card is a horizontal inscription "EURO"
