Front side: the right side of the banknote is the portrait of Pumipon Adulyadej in the traditional garb of the Royal house of Chakri (Rama IX, born. in 1927), the ninth king of Thailand since 9 June 1946. To the left of the portrait the inscription in the Thai language: the BANK of THAILAND. Below – signature of the Bank Manager and his Deputy. In the Central upper part of the banknote is the emblem of the country, the bird Garuda, in the upper right corner – select the value number "20". In the center of the banknote denomination Thai digits. The serial number is located on the top left (national designation) and right lower (Western) parts of the banknote.
The flip side: In the center of the banknote placed a monument to king Ramkhamhaeng the Great (1237-- 1247 – 1298), third king of the dynasty Phu Ruang, who ruled the Kingdom of Sukhothai (the medieval precursor of modern Thailand) in 1279 – 1298. to the Right of the monument – the explanatory text below – par Thai digits. In the upper left corner of the banknote is the emblem of the country, the bird Garuda.
The banknote contains: watermark; security thread; micro text; and aligning a latent image of the denomination "20".
