Front side: the Roman amphitheatre in Bosra. Zenobia - Queen-maiden of Palmyra.

Busra is a historic town in the South of Syria, as well as an important archaeological site, which is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Today, Bosra is an important archaeological monument where there are ruins of Roman, Byzantine and Muslim times, as well as one of the best preserved in the world the Roman theatres, in which each year hosts national music festival.

Zenobia Septimius, also Zenovia of Rome (lat. Zenobia Septimia, or Iulia Aurelia Zenobia Septimia; gr. ?????u?? ???????; 240 — after 274) Queen of Palmyra. Declared independence from Rome, but soon her troops were defeated and captured. Reliable data about the origin of Zenobia is not preserved. According to the proposal, it had both Arabic and Aramaic roots
