Banknote of 500 won 1988, North Korea
Only in 1988, Bank of North Korea was printed two new series of banknotes for foreigners instead of legacy banknotes in 1978. Blue-green bonds, intended for tourists from capitalist countries, red-pink - for visitors from socialist countries. For the socialist countries were issued banknotes denominations of 1, 5, 10, 50 Chon, and 1, 5, 10, 50 won.
