The 125th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai.To. Roerich, a Russian artist, designer, philosopher-mystic, writer, traveler, archaeologist and public figure.
Obverse: at the Top along the rim, the denomination "TWO rubles", at the bottom left of the chemical name "Ag" and the hallmark "925" metal, below the year of issue "1999", bottom right of the net weight in the coin of precious metal "of 15.55" and the monogram of the mint "SPMD". In the middle in the rim of the points of the double-headed eagle under it on the inner side of the point of the rim the words "BANK of RUSSIA".
Reverse: fragment of a picture N. To.Roerich, below in two lines — the name: "HUMAN AFFAIRS", top right — portrait of the artist, under it — the inscription in two lines: "NICHOLAS ROERICH" the right of the portrait — the dates in two lines "1874 ""1947".
