Banknote of 50 zloty 1988 - Poland - World Paper Money P-142e - UNC. Series 1952-1989 People's Republic of Poland.
Obverse: Karol Świerczewski (Karlovic, Karol Swierczewski; Pol. Karol Swierczewski; (22 (10) February 1897, Warsaw — 28 March 1947, under Yablokami near Baligrod) — Soviet and the Polish statesman and military leader, Colonel General of the red army (11 Jul 1946), General armor Polish army (1 may 1945), doctor of military Sciences.
The flip side: "order of the Cross of Grunwald" (Pol. Order Krzyza Grunwaldu), Cross of Grunwald — Polish military order, established in November 1943. Awarding of the order was produced for valor in the fight with the invaders for the freedom and independence of Poland, contribution to the organization of the armed forces successfully conduct military operations, both Polish and foreign citizens. The order was also awarded to military units, cities and province. Cancelled in 1992.
