Nominal small figure "2" placed in the upper left corner of the banknote, and a major figure in the framing of the ornament in the upper right. The serial number is located in the lower corners of the banknote in the lower right corner – the transparent window with the emblem of the Bank of Papua New Guinea.
Reverse side: In the center, on the ornamented background, placed household items of the aborigines of the country: ax tribes from the foothills of the volcano mount Hagen, armband-Kula tribes from Milne Bay, engraved dogs teeth from the Bougainville island and a clay pot from the Sepik region.
