Obverse: In the center of the banknote – the image of Garuda (sled bird of the God Vishnu) of the temple complex in the city of Changu Narayan. Above the image is an inscription in the Nepali language was CENTRAL BANK of NEPAL, at the bottom, amid the sculpture – a text designation of denomination, following the signature of a Bank Manager. In the left part of the banknote, in the frame – image of mount Everest, the highest peak in the world (8848 m.).Denomination Nepalese numerals is in the upper left corner, the number "10" in the upper right. Serial number placed in the lower corners.
The flip side: In the Central part of the banknote, in a stylized arch, the frame – image of three antelope on a background of trees, above – the emblem of the Central Bank of the country. In the lower part of the banknote, on the background of the ornament, placed the denomination on the left, and the Nepali language was right – in English: TEN RUPEES. Denomination Nepalese numerals is in the upper left corner, the number "10" in the upper right.
The bill contains a watermark in the form of a flower of rhododendron; security thread; micro; hidden image.
