Obverse: In the center – the emblem of the country: Seychelles palm tree, turtle, sailboat on the shield, top hat and bird white-tailed Phaeton, two siderately – fish-sailing. Under the arms – the year of issue. At the top a semicircular inscription: REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES.
In the set:

Reverse: In the centre of the Seychelles tree with fruit. On the left, the figure "5" on the right the inscription: RUPEES.
- 1 rupee
Reverse: In the center of the ocean basin, at the bottom left of the figure "1". In the upper part of the coin – the value of semi-circle: ONE RUPEE.
- 25 cents
Reverse: Left – black parrot on a branch. To the right is the denomination in two lines: 25 /CENTS.
- 10 cents
Reverse: In the left part of the coin – an image of a tuna. To the right is the number "10" in the lower part of the coin – the value of semi-circle: TEN CENTS.
- 5 cents
Reverse: In the center – of manioc Palma. On the left, the figure "5" in the lower part of the coin – the value of semi-circle: FIVE CENTS.
- 1 cent
Reverse: In the center – the image of a crab. In the upper part of the coin the number "1" in the bottom – the face value semi-circle: ONE CENT.
