Banknote of 5 kyats 1997 - Myanmar - World Paper Money P-70b (watermark: lion China and nominal) - UNC. Series 1990-1998 ND Issue.
Obverse: In the left part of the banknote, on ornamented field is of a seated mythical lion – China – with the coat of arms of the country, the right of the lion – the value of words in the Burmese language. In the upper part of an ornamented field is an inscription in the Burmese language: the CENTRAL BANK of MYANMAR. In the upper right corner of the banknote placed the value of the Burmese figure in the background patterned vignettes; the denomination numeral is also located in the upper left corner ornamented field (Western designation) and lower left (of the national). To the left of the lion and in the lower right corner of the banknote is the serial number.
The flip side: In the center of the banknote, on the background of the ornamented fields, shows the players in chinlon dance, martial arts, national team sport without a team-rival. In the upper part of an ornamented field, on the band of ornament, the inscription in English: CENTRAL BANK OF MYANMAR, at the bottom – the denomination:FIVE KYATS. The denomination numeral "5" is located in the upper left corner of the background patterned vignettes. The denomination numeral is also located in the upper right corner ornamented field (national designation) and lower right (West). "Chinlone" (cane ball game - traditional sport in Burma; mixture between ball game and dance).
