Cheilinus undulatus (lat.) — sea bony fish of the family rubanovich (Labridae). Inhabit coral reefs of the red sea, the tropical parts of the Indian and Pacific oceans: from South and East Africa to Tuamotu archipelago, North to Ryukyu Islands. Confined to the depths of 1-100 m. Fish length up to 230 cm — the largest representative rubanovich. The maximum weight is 191 kg. However, the more common length is 60 cm, the fish sexual maturity occurs at a length of 35 cm of adult fish are thick, plump lips and a noticeable growth on the head. Body color is greenish gray or bluish color.
