Description
Obverse: In the upper left corner shows the national pattern. Over the entire area of the banknote — the image of the natural landscape, done in watercolor. His background shows paraskova horn sheep made in the technique of Intaglio. The value set in the centre of the note with the number "50" and the Faroese language is: "FIMTI KRONUR". and in the upper right corner of the banknote "20" ("Arabic numerals"). The serial number is in the upper left and lower corners (black color). In the bottom right corner — signature: Dan Michael Knudsen & Aksel Vilhelmsson Johannesen.
The flip side: the left side of the banknote depicts a cliff on the island of Suduroy, stylized hand-drawn image of the Faroese landscape — sea, mountains, sheep. The value set in the centre of the note with the number "50" under it the inscription in Faroese: "FØROYAR".
