A Series Of "Skorina Path" - "Way To Skaryna Avenue. Polack" ("The Way Skaryna. Polotsk").
Francis Lukich Skorina — East Slavic first printer, philosopher, humanist, writer, social activist, entrepreneur and medical scientist. Interpreter at Belarusian recension of Church Slavonic books of the Bible, the publisher of these books.
Obverse: at the top – the relief image of the State emblem of the Republic of Belarus, under the inscription: the REPUBLIC of BELARUS; in the center – a quote about love for the Motherland from the Preface to the book of Judith, published by F. Skaryna, left and right – a decorative ornament, which is inscribed on the left year of issue; below in the centre face value: 1 RUBEL.
Reverse: in the center – the image of Venetian Windows, decorated with elements of vegetable ornament and signs of the prints after F. Skorina; through the arch, on the set of Polotsk with engravings of the XVI century – the ship (the emblem of the coat of arms of Polotsk); at the base of the composition is an open book and the inscription: POLACK; at the top in a circle the inscription: the WAY SKARYNA.
