A series of "Slutsk belts" - "the belts of Slutsk. Match" ("the belts of Slutsk. Tags")
Slutsk belt element mens suit Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It was considered a sign of noble origin and his presence pointed to the well-being of the owner. The name comes from the name of the city of Slutsk in Belarus.
Obverse: at the top – the relief image of the State emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin – an image of a fragment of two-way reversible belts made in the manufactory of Slutsk (1760(1762)-1776) and in the collection of the Minsk regional local history Museum; on the outer circle above the inscription: the REPUBLIC of BELARUS; to the left the year of issue, the right artistic element, the bottom – face value: 1 RUBEL.
Reverse: on the left in a circle the inscription: belts of SLUTSK. MATCH; in the center of the coin – type composition based on woven labels Slutsk belts and a stylized map of the city of Slutsk of XVII – beginning of XVIII centuries, reflecting the time, place and authorship of their creators and the labels: SLUCK, MEFECIT/SLUCІAЕ., IOANNES.MADZARSKI, VIGGY/SLUTSK//LEO.MA/ARSK.
