A series of "Slutsk belts" - "the belts of Slutsk. Szlachecki castum" ("the belts of Slutsk. The costume of the gentry").
Slutsk belt element mens suit Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It was considered a sign of noble origin and his presence pointed to the well-being of the owner. The name comes from the name of the city of Slutsk in Belarus.
Obverse: at the top – the relief image of the State emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin – an image of a fragment of a unilateral belt, made in the manufactory of Slutsk (1776-1780) and in the collection of the National Museum of history and culture of Belarus; in the outer circle above the inscription: the REPUBLIC of BELARUS; to the left the year of issue on the right – the fineness and artistic element, the bottom – face value: 1 RUBEL.
Reverse: on the left in a circle the inscription: belts of SLUTSK. SZLACHECKI CASCOM; left image of the figure of a man (nobleman) in a traditional costume, belted Slutsk sash; right – a stylized image of his genealogical tree as a symbol of noble family.
