A series of "Slutsk belts" - "the belts of Slutsk. Coleccionando" ("the belts of Slutsk. Collectables")
Slutsk belt element mens suit Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It was considered a sign of noble origin and his presence pointed to the well-being of the owner. The name comes from the name of the city of Slutsk in Belarus.
Obverse: at the top – the relief image of the State emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin – an image of a fragment of a double-sided belts made to the Slutsk manufactory in the collection of the Literary Museum of Maksim Bahdanovich; in the outer circle above the inscription: the REPUBLIC of BELARUS; to the left the year of issue, the right and an artistic element, the bottom – face value: 1 RUBEL.
Reverse: on the left in a circle the inscription: belts of SLUTSK. COLECCIONABLE; in the center – the image of the cover of the catalogue of the exhibition of Slutsk belts in 1927 and part of the belt from the collection of the Ivan Lutskevich (collection from the collection of Ivan Lutskevich was shown to M. Bahdanovich, after which he wrote a poem called "Slutsk tkaczyk").
