Obverse: in the circle framed by a geometric pattern – the relief image of the State emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – the solar sign comprising an octagonal geometric shapes with decorative elements, symbolizing the sun's rays; underneath is the year of coinage; inscriptions along the circle: at the top – the REPUBLIC of BELARUS, at the bottom – AZN RUBEL.
Reverse: in the center – the relief image of indispensable attribute of holiday of MASLENITSA – pancakes, under them – a clay pot with sour cream and a wooden spoon; at the top – the relief image of the sun and the snowflakes, symbolizing meeting of winter with spring, left and right – the relief elements of Belarusian national ornament; at the bottom in a circle the inscription: MASLENITSA.
