The "Erebuni" Museum — one of the historical museums of the city of Yerevan, located at ARIN-Berd hill, near the remains of the Urartian fortress of Erebuni. The Museum contains many exhibits that were discovered during the excavation of the fortress of Erebuni in 1950-1959 years and the excavations of the nearby Urartian city of Teishebaini that took place on the hill Karmir blur in the years 1939-1958. The Museum was opened in 1968 to the 2750th anniversary of the founding of the city of Erebuni.
The most valuable finds, in particular articles of gold and silver, for example a statuette of the God Teisheba, moved to the history Museum of Armenia is the main Museum of the country, and in Erebuni Museum are exhibited a copy of these findings. The most valuable exhibits of the actual Museum of Erebuni are 23 cuneiform tablets of Urartian times. In the territory of the Museum includes remains of walls of Erebuni and partial reconstruction of some rooms of the Royal Palace, located in the open air behind the main Museum building at the top of the hill ARIN-Berd.
